 Located
near "Muro",Santa Margarita is a small town, however,it is one of the most important in tourist
terms, because it belongs to the popular "Can
Picafort" "Son Bauló" and "Son Serra de Marina", in
the Alcúdia bay.
In "Can Picafort tourism began during the last
century. People would stay in small vacation huts,
like those that exist today in "Platja dels Capellans"
in "Muro".
Santa Margarita has a coastal extension of aproximately. 9 km. long. Made up of part dunes and
fine sand beaches, conforming into an area of great
ecological value.

municipal term, which makes "Santa Margalida" a
paradise for lovers of archaeology.
