 Algaida
is the name of this small town, which comes from the
Arabic word "al gaida" that means the forest.
Algaida is the biggest municipal, an extension of "Es
Pla".
Along the Manacor highway, you will observe a
landscape
that personalizes the village. You will see almond
trees, fig trees,
old hostels for travelers, little hills here and
there. Finally you will arrive at "Randa" the highest
mountain from "Es pla". The mountain is 527mts and is
considered the best view point from the centre of the
island.
